About the Founder

Get Synergised, a business consultancy with a passion for purpose, was founded by Rachel Hales after more than 30 years of experience at the intersection of business and community. Guided by the belief that “business should be a force for good,” Rachel recognised the gap between businesses wanting to connect more meaningfully with their communities and nonprofits seeking access to decision-makers, long-term support and investment, and trusted networks. Out of this, Get Synergised was born.

Rachel’s passion for social impact was shaped early by her parents’ compassion and faith - most profoundly when they welcomed a homeless ex-offender into their home. They taught her that when you have the time, resources, skills, expertise, or finances to change someone’s life, the real question is: why wouldn’t you?These formative experiences, together with a career leading services for children, young people, and families facing significant challenges, strengthened her belief that collaboration across sectors creates a synergy far greater than the sum of its parts. At Get Synergised, our purpose is simple: to improve lives and build a better future for all - because we are stronger together.
